These experienced promoters go beyond simply organizing concerts; they play a crucial role in introducing global music culture to Taiwan. In this article, we will highlight five notable figures within the local scene, providing international musicians with a guide to potential partners for expanding into the Taiwanese market.

SuperDome 超級圓頂

Founded in 1997, SuperDome 超級圓頂 is one of the most influential and well-established entertainment companies in Taiwan. SuperDome specializes in organizing large-scale ceremonies, events, and professional concert productions. With an impressive track record, SuperDome has successfully organized numerous national award shows, including the Golden Melody Awards (金曲獎), Golden Bell Awards (金鐘獎), and Golden Horse Awards (金馬獎).

Each year, SuperDome produces over 50 concerts, working with some of the biggest names in the Mandopop scene, including Andy Lau (劉德華), A-Mei (張惠妹), Stefanie Sun (孫燕姿), Wu Bai (伍佰), David Tao (陶喆), Jacky Cheung (張學友), and Jolin Cai (蔡依林). Their productions cover Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Malaysia, showcasing extensive market coverage and deep industry expertise.

SuperDome’s founder, Ke Fu-hung (葛福鴻), holds a significant position and influence in Taiwan's entertainment industry. Under her leadership, the company has not only played a key role in helping Taiwanese artists reach international stages but also excelled at introducing global pop acts to Taiwan.

In recent years, SuperDome has successfully brought some of Asia’s biggest stars to Taiwan, including K-pop icon G-Dragon, Japanese phenomenon Kenshi Yonezu, legendary singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru, powerhouse Korean soloist IU, and Girls’ Generation’s TAEYEON.

Founded in 1991, KHAM INC. (寬宏藝術) is one of the earliest performing arts agencies in southern Taiwan. With a long-standing presence in Taiwan's cultural scene, it has presented a diverse lineup of high-profile productions and performances, including musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King; concerts by legendary tenor Plácido Domingo, The Eagles, and Ed Sheeran; as well as performances such as A Night of John Williams' Music and Lord of the Dance. In recent years, KHAM has established a strong partnership with the globally renowned promoter AEG Presents, leveraging its robust local ticketing system in conjunction with AEG's extensive international network. This strategic collaboration has significantly expanded KHAM's reach across various mainstream music markets, including Western pop, K-pop, and beyond.

AEG Presents, a global industry leader behind world tours for top acts from across the globe, has provided vital support in helping KHAM bring global music icons to Taiwan. Since the start of their partnership, Taiwan has experienced a notable increase in international performances, accompanied by more seamless operations in ticketing and live event management.

KHAM's partnership with AEG Presents has led to a notable increase in international acts performing in Taiwan, including Linkin Park, Céline Dion, and Sam Smith, bringing excitement to fans throughout Taiwan. In addition, KHAM has hosted a diverse lineup of international artists, including classical crossover star Sarah Brightman, Icelandic Post-rock band Sigur Rós, and Japanese singer Ado. KHAM also produced large-scale stage productions such as  Cats, Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, School of Rock, and Sunset Boulevard highlighting its versatility in arts and entertainment planning.

 

BaoDao.fun 宝島制作委員会

Emerging as a new-generation promoter, BaoDao.fun (宝島制作委員会) positions itself not merely as an event organizer but as a curator and coordinator dedicated to creating sustainable music and lifestyle experiences that deliver lasting value for both artists and brands. What sets it apart is its deep focus on independent music from Japan, Korea, and Thailand, as well as its love for classic rock and vinyl culture. Through its select shop and thoughtfully curated events, BaoDao.fun has built strong ties with both local and international indie musicians, actively fostering cross-border collaboration.

Neon Oasis Music Festival is BaoDao.fun's most representative event, which focuses on showcasing indie artists from Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Thailand. This unique identity has allowed the festival to stand out in Taiwan's increasingly competitive festival scene. Each year, it attracts attention with its distinctive programming and regional emphasis.

In terms of artist curation, BaoDao.fun has successfully introduced a wide range of acclaimed acts to Taiwanese audiences. From Japan: Hitsujibungaku (羊文学); I Don't Like Mondays., known for performing the One Piece theme song; ALI, recognized for the Jujutsu Kaisen ending theme; Daoko, who has collaborated with Kenshi Yonezu and Ringo Sheena; the mysterious singer Wanuka (和ぬか); and Tokyo Soul rock band Suchmos. Notable acts from Thailand include YONLAPA, KIKI, and FOLK9.

The brand's events are also known for being accessible and fan-oriented. For example, VIP tickets often come with exclusive perks, such as artist-signed posters and early entry. These thoughtful additions create an intimate, interactive atmosphere that strengthens the connection with local audiences.

 

Young Team Productions

Founded in late 2017 by lead curator Chacha, Young Team Productions emerged from Taipei's vibrant live music scene. Young Team Productions positions itself not merely as a concert promoter but as a music curation brand, emphasizing long-term, trust-based relationships between artists and audiences.

Dedicated to promoting musical diversity and fostering ongoing collaboration, the team shares behind-the-scenes stories and artist anecdotes on social media. This allows fans to connect more deeply with both the music and the artists themselves. This personal and transparent approach has become a hallmark of the brand, providing an intimate concert experience that is rarely found in the industry.

From 2021 to 2025, Young Team Productions curated and produced the Taiwan Beats Showcase at the renowned U.S. music festival SXSW, where they showcased Taiwanese bands on an international platform. Young Team Productions also plays a vital role in Asia's touring circuit, collaborating closely with partners such as Clockenflap in Hong Kong, New Noise in China, and Seen Scene Space in Thailand to coordinate multi-city tours across the region.

Young Team Productions has brought a diverse range of artists to Taiwan, including legendary UK shoegaze pioneers RIDE, the iconic Chicago band American Football, South London's highly acclaimed jazz drummer Yussef Dayes, the Australian Electro-Funk group Parcels, and the Japanese Math-rock band toe. Through these shows, Young Team Productions has provided local audiences with fresh and varied musical experiences that span across genres.
